About the Role
We are seeking passionate and skilled Commis de Partie’s to join our team for the 2025 season. In this role, you will maintain and deliver high-quality food items while ensuring your station operates efficiently. You'll also supervise apprentices, communicate effectively, and collaborate with the team to uphold our high culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily food production and service for your assigned station.
Supervise and mentor apprentices working within your team.
Ensure all food meets the quality standards set by the Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs.
Assist with menu planning, specials, and recipe development.
Maintain health and safety standards in all kitchen practices.
Execute proper food preparation, portioning, and garnishing techniques.
Understand and use modern kitchen terminology to meet culinary standards.
Maintain a clean uniform, excellent personal hygiene, and well-maintained kitchen tools.
Delegate tasks effectively as needed.
Support purchasing and receiving activities when required.
Adhere to all safe work practices and report any unsafe conditions or hazards to the management team.
What We’re Looking For
Chef’s certificate or completion of an apprenticeship program, or equivalent experience in the service industry
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in hot, humid conditions.
Strong understanding of culinary terms, food preparation techniques, and kitchen vocabulary.
Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Experience handling food deliveries and inventory management.
Valid Food Safe certification is required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without restriction.

Competitive hourly rate ($19.48-$23.58) dependent on experience, plus gratuities.
