Job Description
The driver will work independently as well as with a team to pick up and deliver to various locations in Chateauguay. 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday
Role and responsibilities
Unloading & loading metal products.
Forklift operating ( we give the training & certification).
Operating straight trucks or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials over urban, short inter-urban.
Operating trucks & trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials to our diffrents buildings
Conducting routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, electronics logs, proper documentations, and incident reporting.
Performing product delivery verification at the customer location and maintaining customer invoices.
Following health and safety and safe work procedures.
Flexible to work in the shop on different tasks.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract.
Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 60 lbs).
Previous professional driving experience is preferred.
Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature, and road conditions.
