Summary
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to various departments, which may include general office duties, and coordinating office facilities. Operations Coordinator reports to Bakery Leader
Job Location: 5345 275 St, Langley Twp, BC V4W 3X8
Salary: $65,000/year - $70,000/year
Primary Responsibilities
Weekly payroll for hourly and agency team members – submission every Monday at 7:00 AM pst.
Collaborate with the supervisor to identify and resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly and accurately.
Facilitate the complete onboarding process for all hourly team members.
Process and complete requisitions submitted by all hourly team members in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordinate with Cintas to ensure accurate and timely uniform delivery for all team members, maintaining required inventory levels and addressing any discrepancies promptly.
Maintain, Organize filing system and update databases and other information as required
Receive, distribute, and prepare mail for courier services
Ensure all correspondence, communication and reports are dealt with in a timely and confidential manner
Respond efficiently to all requests for office supplies and coordinate servicing of office equipment
Organize Town Halls and employee recognition events
Maintaining plant budget files in various accounts and budget accruals on a period basis.
Maintaining hourly team member’s confidential records including their personal information, training records and disciplinary actions
All other duties as required
Required Experience
Completion of high school: College degree an asset
3+ years experience as an assistant in a manufacturing environment preferred
Exceptional coordination and time management skills required
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Superior organizational, administrative and project planning skills
Self-directed with ability to work independently in a fast paced environment managing multiple priorities
Detail oriented
Highly effective interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external contacts
Able to work well with a variety of people and maintain confidentiality
SAP knowledge is an asset.
