The Opportunity
This role is a 6-month contract position, focus on translation requests from
Store Support Operations department, and they must be able to deal with
confidential documents with a high degree of security and accuracy- the focus on
translation will be Canadian French primarily for product name translations and
overall proofreading.
What You’ll Do
- Providing translation services and advising on accuracy of French/English
content for our internal team such as training materials, video, and
documents
- Assist with drafting and editing written content for reports, and other
materials, including highly confidential documents
- Formatting data collected for presentations
- Liaising with departmental staff to support translation and development of
content for various purposes
- Upload translated materials into internal Company systems
- Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent verbal and written English AND French
- University Degree (preferably in linguistic/translation-related studies)
- Demonstrated understanding and brand awareness of UNIQLO specific to QC
market
- Proven extremely high level of attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient with computers and programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and
Google applications
