Java Software Engineer Position overview: We are looking for a backend Java Software Developer with passion and expertise in Server-side software development to join our Fusion 360 Data Services dev team. This team develops, maintains and supports Data Management services, including Fusion Team, for Autodesk flagship product Fusion 360. Autodesk Fusion 360 has over a million users globally, it is a next generation CAD application with an ecosystem of Client & Server components, next generation Web client, SDK and a variety of Cloud Services that interact with world leading CAD Products such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit. The position is hybrid based in Toronto, Ontario You will report to Senior Manager, Software Development. Responsibilities: Work in a scrum team that owns critical micro-services that are the foundation of Fusion 360 Data Write high-quality, clean, and efficient code following the development guidelines Proactively and continuously evaluate and address issues related to performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility of the systems Contribute to test automations not only in writing them but also in managing them Collaborate with stakeholders like Product Owner, Scrum Master, and team members to understand, analyze requirements and translate these requirements into high quality micro services to drive customer satisfaction Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud services and applications development Strong understanding of Java programming language, object-oriented design principles, Spring and Jersey Hands-on experience with unit and automation testing tools such as JUnit, Cucumber, JMeter etc. Experience in developing RESTful web services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Jersey Experience with Relational or NoSQL database technologies, e.g. MySQL or DynamoDB Experience with Build and CI/CD tools like Ant, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins Experience with Git or equivalent version control system Written and verbal communication skills Willingness to work with colleagues across different time zones At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
