About the Role
The Performance team is the engine powering KOHO’s user acquisition across Canada.
With a "User First" approach and a growth ownership mindset, they ensure KOHO is the go-to choice for Canadians seeking a smart, subscription-based alternative to traditional banking.
Each team member owns a key piece of the growth ecosystem - from organic to paid - and uses a blend of creativity, data, and experimentation to drive long-term customer value and brand growth.
You’re not just comfortable with ambiguity - you thrive in it. With at least 5 years of experience (ideally in high-growth startups or performance-driven agencies), you're looking to bring your deep expertise to a product-based company that values curiosity, experimentation, and real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Design, manage, and scale user acquisition campaigns across paid media channels - with a focus on Google, Meta, TikTok, and Apple Search, and other high-intent platforms.
Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to enhance audience segmentation, bidding, creative testing, and campaign optimization.
Formulate and execute digital acquisition strategies that optimize for CAC and maximize LTV, with an emphasis on subscription-based conversion models and retention-driven growth.
Continuously test creative (copy + visuals) through A/B experiments, ensuring campaigns evolve based on performance insights and audience behavior.
Build and maintain performance reporting dashboards, and present weekly insights across KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, conversion rates, and LTV.
Work closely with product and data teams to align acquisition with downstream conversion funnels and predictive LTV modeling.
What You'll Need
5+ years of experience in performance marketing, ideally within high-growth startups or performance-driven agencies.
Proven track record of managing multi-channel performance campaigns with a strong focus on Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, and Apple Search.
Deep understanding of adtech infrastructure, marketing analytics, attribution models, and customer lifecycle optimization.
Experience building campaigns that go beyond install - with focus on subscription sign-ups, upgrades, and churn mitigation.
Familiarity with AI marketing tools (e.g., for creative optimization, audience targeting, or predictive modeling).
Mobile app growth experience is highly desirable; fluency in French is a major plus.
