In-House Legal Counsel - Business Law, Transactional
Are you looking for a balance between your personal and professional life, and would like to join a dynamic, friendly, family-oriented work environment?
Our client is a private company operating in a variety of sectors. It is renowned both nationally and internationally for the quality of its products and the size of its real estate holdings.
This dynamic company is currently seeking a bilingual legal counsel with experience in various areas of business law. More specifically, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to handle files in commercial law (supply contracts, licenses, partnerships, leases), transactional law and financing.
The selected lawyer must have a minimum of 6-8 years' experience in the above-mentioned areas of law and will be offered attractive mandates that he/she will carry out independently and proactively.
As part of your duties, you will work with your colleagues on files involving, among other things, the purchase and sale of assets, manage financing files, negotiate leases and various commercial agreements, and update or reorganize companies. Knowledge of licensing, trademarks and intellectual property would be an asset.
The ideal candidate will stand out for his or her versatility, autonomy and ability to learn quickly, but also for his or her practicality, solution-oriented approach and business acumen.
Our client-employer is ideally looking for a committed lawyer with a proven track record of employment stability, who will fit in well with the current team: friendly, hard-working and supportive.
You'll find this employer has a great internal culture, characterized by stability and encouraging professional development.
Are you ambitious and looking to quickly take on major responsibilities? Are you a self-starter with good business acumen? We look forward to meeting you.
