In-House Real Estate Paralegal – Leasing & Corporate

including office buildings and shopping centers. As part of their ongoing
development, the company is seeking a Paralegal in real estate and corporate law
who is eager to take on stimulating challenges within a dynamic and
multidisciplinary legal team. Working closely with the Vice President of Legal
Affairs and Corporate Secretary, as well as with the Director of Legal Affairs,
you will play a key role in managing corporate and leasing matters.

YOUR ROLE:
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Drafting and preparing various contractual documents and legal correspondence
related to real estate, such as leases, offers to lease, extensions,
amendments, assignments, and claims;

Collecting necessary information and following up to ensure the proper
management of leases;

Drafting corporate documents related board meetings;

Preparing and submitting the necessary forms and documents to maintain
required permits, licenses, and certifications with the relevant authorities;

Conducting research and publishing documents online in various public
registers, including the Land Register, Personal Property Registry, and the
Business Registrar.
SKILLS REQUIRED:

Hold a Paralegal Technology diploma (DCS), or any combination of relevant
combination education and experience;

Have experience in commercial real estate law;

Experience in an in-house legal department will be considered an asset;

Bilingual in both spoken and written French and English;

Excellent teamwork skills;

Strong attention to detail, precision, and proactivity;

Good organizational skills and a dynamic personality;
