The Dealer Development Financial Analyst’s key responsibilities include supporting all Dealer Financial Analysis activity in the department by preparing reports, trending data and working collaboratively with the Supervisor to make recommendations based on results. This role also supports the Department’s invoice processing, budget updating and tracking. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and office equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES Dealer Financial Analysis: Execution of the Dealer Performance Reports & provide analysis of Expense vs GP by dept. Updating Mid-Month report - early snapshot of dealer profitability overview Creation of new reports to broaden visibility on Dealer Financial Status Review preliminary - YOY FS change proposal Assessing Working Capital and identifying the YOY (+/-) Support ad hoc report requests on financial key performance indicator analysis Creation and distribution of Executive level of reporting LOLA System support: Assisting with Dealer Report Card/GM Assessment and Ranking reports (data feeds) by following up with ALL stakeholders Auditing periodically the Dealer Report Card for accuracy Train Zone associates on LOLA system Project management working with the vendor for the automation of new reports Green Dealer Program: Work with our external vendor to track dealers’ assessments & award achievements, provide status updates to the business monthly Ensure Honda & Acura’s Green dealer website is updated with new awards & collaborate with web team on website redesign and updates Coordinate with vendor the distribution of plaques for newly awarded dealers Collaborate with Zones on dealer status to ensure brand targets are met Market Study & Industry Analysis: Monthly Market Share Analysis & reporting Periodic creation of dealer tools (ie: CrossSells, TVIO, PCCF...) Support market analysis projects, working with demographic data including mapping software and competing industry data Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Departmental Budget – timely processing of departmental invoices from vendors, invoicing dealers as needed on monthly basis, input of monthly Transaction Detail Report into departmental budget detail worksheet monthly to ensure department is tracking appropriately QUALIFICATIONS Completed post-secondary education specializing in Finance A minimum of 3 years’ experience; experience analyzing Financial statements (a strong asset) Strong computer skills (MS office including Power Point) Excel proficiency required - formulas, macros Excellent communication skills In depth analytical experience – proactively identify trends, gaps and areas of opportunity Strong Mathematically background Attention to detail & accuracy Efficient in a high pace environment Develops and maintains good working relationships and all members of the team. Develops and maintains good working relationships within Honda North America as well as all other internal and external stakeholders. Develop, establish and maintain good working relationship with Honda North America suppliers, partners, consultants, stakeholders and other network contacts.
