Your experience in managing various aspects of a kitchen will be reflective in positive Guest satisfaction and Colleague engagement results.Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 per annumYour Job Duties Include : Ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standardsMaintain and enhance the food products through creative menu development and presentationHave full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotionsPrepare food requisitions in a timely manner & ensure that food order items required for department are communicated to the Executive ChefMaintain on-going training and development of employeesEnsure proper staffing and scheduling in accordance to productivity guidelinesOther duties as assignedQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Previous leadership experience in the culinary field requiredMinimum of 7 years well rounded experience in all areas of the culinary field of luxury hotel or restaurant kitchensPastry experience is an assetValid Alberta driver’s license requiredSuccessful completion of Alberta’s Food Handler CertificationJourneyman’s papers or international equivalent requiredDiploma Certification in a Culinary discipline requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications requiredPrevious Hotel/Resort experience preferredAdditional InformationVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
