They often serve as mentors within the team and are a key point of reference for other artists.Production:Take ownership of complex shots or sequencesCreate visually compelling compositions while meeting technical requirementsAnticipate and resolve technical and creative challenges independentlyContribute to the improvement of departmental tools, templates, and workflowsActively participate in internal reviews and provide constructive inputCollaboration:Guide and support junior and mid-level artistsCommunicate effectively with Leads, Supervisors, and other departmentsHelp ensure visual consistency across shotsAssist in onboarding new artists into the pipeline and studio cultureQualificationsExpert knowledge of Nuke, including basic scripting, AOV management, and 2D/3D integrationAbility to handle multiple shots simultaneously under tight deadlinesMotivation to learn, grow, and share expertiseStrong artistic eye for detail, composition, and seamless integrationAbility to propose creative solutions that meet production needsSolid experience in a structured production environmentAbility to solve technical problems independentlyBasic English skills (spoken and written)Nice-to-Have Skills:Familiarity with scripting (TCL, Python)Experience with ShotGrid or similar toolsSensitivity to photography, composition, and color theoryComfortable working in a Linux/Unix environmentAdditional InformationThe person in this role will work closely with our Paris studio in a bilingual environment, as well as with international partners, talent, and clients.
