The Family Office Senior works with high-net-worth families to ensure their complex financial needs are met in a customized way. This position is responsible for being a point of contact with clients to ensure their core accounting processes are working smoothly and are completed both timely and accurately.
Individuals in this role also proactively monitor a client’s financial situation to manage cash, support capital calls, and provide research and analysis of trends to identify action items and support major projects being conducted by our clients. Family Office Seniors also provide leadership and training for Family Office staff and oversee their work on mutually assigned clients.

Responsibilities:
Primary day-to-day contact for client communications, project management, problem identification and resolution across multiple simultaneous client relationships
Provide leadership and training to Family Office staff, overseeing their work on mutual engagements. Review reports and other financial data/analysis prepared by staff
Provided core accounting services: journal entries, payroll oversight, investment reporting/tax basis, and manage/reconcile client data to identify and resolve issues for ultra-high-net-worth family units and related entities (clients)
Analyze financial trends within clients’ financial situations and identify/recommend action to manage cash flow, and capital calls for private/direct investments
Prepare client financial reports and analysis, including supporting work papers and schedules, for individuals and entities within client families
Respond to inquiries from clients’ outside service team members (CPAs, Attorneys, et al), providing analysis or information to support the broader client experience
Onboard new clients, set up financial reporting processes and chart of accounts, establish client vendor and household relationships to support engagements, triage and resolve issues in onboarding
Support client projects/major purchases with research, analysis, and recommendations to advance the project and advise on risks identified
Assist on special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Business or Accounting majors preferred
2 years of related experience required, experience in a single or multi-family office environment preferred
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Moss Adams will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)

Experience with Bill.com and QuickBooks preferred
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office
Ability to work overtime, as needed
