Position Summary:
The Workshop Performance Specialist plays a pivotal role in facilitating training, assessing the quality of training delivery across our Service Provider (SP) network, supporting curricula development, and continuous improvement of the Power of Possible (POP) training, The Fedcap Group’s proprietary work readiness training curriculum.
Reporting to the Senior Workshop Performance Specialist in Fedcap Canada’s Learning and Development team, the Workshop Performance Specialist will support in training SP staff to become proficient facilitators of the POP workshop for job seekers. Success in this role will be measured through established KPIs, including SP adherence to the training curriculum, method, and quality of delivery, and continuous program improvement through analyzing and implementing feedback from the job seekers and the Service Provider network.
What You'll Do:
Develop a deep understanding of the Power of Possible philosophy and curriculum.
Lead and co-lead at least 2 POP Train-the-Trainer sessions per year, ensuring SP staff are fully equipped to deliver the curriculum to job seekers.
Conduct a minimum of 2 to 3 observations/evaluations of SP-delivered POP training groups per quarter, assessing the quality and effectiveness of their delivery to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain coaching and support relationships with a minimum of 10 Service Providers.
Develop and deliver coaching plans to POP facilitators as needed for continuous improvement.
Program Development & Training:
Design and implement enhancements or updates to the POP curriculum once per year, aligned with employment readiness, life skills, and incorporating feedback and outcome data.
Deliver or co-facilitate at least 2 POP Train-the-Trainer workshops per year with at least 90% of participants reporting overall readiness to deliver POP in post-session evaluations.
Conduct POP information sessions to a variety of stakeholders based on need
Administrative Support & Data Management:
Maintain real-time digital attendance tracking for all training sessions with 100% accuracy.
Analyze and organize training performance data monthly for contractual reporting, highlighting jobseeker attendance trends, challenges, and improvement recommendations related to Service Provider training effectiveness.
Collaboration & Strategic Support:
Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment for training quality and effectiveness.
Collaborate with Service Providers and other stakeholders to gather feedback and insights to continuously improve POP training and delivery effectiveness.
You’re a Great Fit for This Role If You Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Social Work, or a related field required, or a combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years of professional experience designing and delivering workshops or training curricula for diverse adult populations.
2 years of experience in analyzing training program performance, recommending improvements, and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
Prior experience in leading and evaluating high-volume training activity, demonstrating measurable outcomes such as increased trainer effectiveness or participant satisfaction.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor complex information to diverse internal and external audiences, including Service Provider staff and management.
Compensation:
$50,000-$65,000 (CAD)
