Job Description
What we offer:
$46.00 per hour.
Full immediate benefits, health spending account and matching pension contributions

Shift: Monday to Friday, with lots of opportunity for overtime!
Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication & Installation: Plan, layout, fabricate, install, and maintain piping systems, valves, and related components as per project specifications.
Quality Control: Perform rigorous inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
Troubleshooting: Provide solutions to complex mechanical problems related to piping and ensure all installations are done in a safe and efficient manner.
Mentorship: Train and mentor apprentices, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and work to the highest standards.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the best course of action for installations and repairs.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and regulations in the shop and on the job site.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing materials and inventory for various projects and ensure optimal use of resources.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a pipefitter, with at least 2 years in a Fabrication.
Certification: Journeyman Pipefitter certification is required (Red Seal preferred).
Skills:
Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, materials, and tools.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for long periods.
Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and regulations.
Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, booked by CEDA
Receptive to change - can adapt to changing circumstances
