The Opportunity The Copywriter & Content Creator supports the execution of GoodLife Kids Foundation (GLKF) annual marketing and communication plan, with a focus on content creation. This role uses the key skills of design, copywriting, and capturing photos and videos in order to create content for GLKF internal and external initiatives. This role is required to effectively manage timelines for multiple and coinciding initiatives. This role collaborates primarily with the Manager of Marketing & Communications and Digital Marketing Specialist, and with the GLKF team as required, in order to determine content needed and timeline requirements. Key Responsibilities Creates on-brand content for digital and printed marketing materials that support GLKF initiatives and signature programs. Uses design and copywriting to create content for social media, emails, website, digital newsletters, YouTube, and digitally shared promotional materials. Creates visual and written content for printed materials to support the MOVE by GoodLife Kids Program. Collaborates with the GLKF team in order to design content for and orders promotional items such as T-shirts, conference swag and national event rewards. Supports creation of other content as required. Supports content creation for digital marketing initiatives through photos, videos and interviews. Captures content through photography/videography at various GLKF online or in person events. Supports MOVE Ambassador content development through hosting interviews and image capturing. Edits photos and videos for digital marketing initiatives and MOVE by GoodLife Kids On-Demand series. Designs and curates a library of resources to be used by the GoodLife Kids Foundation team. Creates and maintains templates such as email signatures, internal/external digital newsletters and email formats, and presentation slides. Maintains up to date brand guidelines that are shareable internally and externally. Supports creation of slide presentations. What You Bring Minimum Qualifications: Diploma in graphic design, copywriting, film and digital media, or related field or work-related experience 1-2 years in a copywriting or content creator role or related field Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Experience of creating with graphic design platforms Experience of editing photos and videos Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to work independently with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders Agile, with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience with Microsoft 365 applications Why Join Us?
