Role Description
Research Assistant Opportunity – 2SLGBTQI+ Entrepreneurship Study
- Seeking a motivated and diligent graduate student (Master’s or PhD) or recent graduate with interest and/or experience in 2SLGBTQI+ entrepreneurship.
- This paid, remote position will begin on October 1, 2025, with an initial 3-month contract (extendable to 9 months).
- The expected workload is 5–10 hours per week (negotiable).
- The project explores the experiences of 2SLGBTQI+ entrepreneurs and the organizations that support them.
Qualifications
- Strong research skills, including experience with qualitative methods (interviews, focus groups, transcription).
- Familiarity with 2SLGBTQI+ issues and communities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
