Our client in Toronto Ontario who is an Insurance Services provider is looking for a Accounts Payable Associate to join their team!
This position features:
-Salary: $60,000-$65,000/year .
-3 weeks (after 5 years, the candidate will receive an additional 1 day per year up to 10 years, after 25 years, they will receive 5 weeks vacation)
-4 hours each month for any appointments

Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday: Hybrid-Tuesday & Thursday in office but could change in the future or as needed.
Employment Type: Full time permanent
Requirements:
-8-10 years of corporate AP experience from the insurance, banking, or financial industry is a must
-Intermediate excel skills (Pivot tables & VLOOKUP's)
-This is a very busy role so this person needs to be organized and stay on top of tasks
-Strong communication skills
-Post secondary education in accounting/finance
-Experience with Workday is an asset
Responsibilities:
-Expense reports, signatures on payments
-Creating cheques for insurers/claims, printing a lot of cheques
-Payments to external vendors
-Reconciliations, ensuring invoices are correct and accurate and no duplications, creating various reports
-Processing 20-30 invoices daily
