RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for validating and commenting on samples to ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate with the team to manage production dates according to the production schedule and ensure communication to the various suppliers
Create presentation documents for the Apparel department.
Create alternative versions of a product based on existing references. (change of color, logo and/or brand)
Create a standards book and various sample banks for fabrics.
Work on creative concepts for special projects
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
DEC in Fashion (or other relevant degree)
Fashion experience in marketing and/or development is a an asset
Ability to research and analyze products, decorations and trends
Good understanding of garment construction, decoration techniques and fabrics
Well organized, detail oriented, comfortable with routine work and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Excellent time and priority management, ability to manage a schedule
Solution-oriented, proactive with a sense of initiative
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
Bilingual (French and English)
