Job Description What Is The Opportunity? The Advanced Data Insights & Integration (ADII) Team within RBC Personal Banking is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain innovative front-end and back-end data solutions. You'll collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to solve complex business problems, create process efficiencies and drive incremental revenue through scalable, high-quality software solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering & web application development, contributing to transformational, client-focused personalization projects & internal data support systems. What Will You Do? Develop & Maintain application systems: Build and support full stack applications (TypeScript & Python) & real time data pipelines in AWS that support the organizations personalization and analytics goals Create and manage API's: Work across the team with Data Scientists & Engineers to bring to production a variety of predictive marketing models & insights in real time through RESTful API development DevOps & Change Management: Manage CI/CD pipelines and staging environments, ensuring seamless development-to-production transitions, testing and management. Write clean, maintainable and reusable code, managed in GitHub Collaborate & Innovate: Work across the team in JIRA/Confluence to track deliverables, iterate collaboratively and brainstorm new capabilities/solutions What Do You Need To Succeed? Must have: 3+ years of experience in full-stack development for production-grade applications Proficiency in Node.js, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript Proven experience in designing and shipping REST APIs or equivalent interfaces in a large-scale organization Expertise in building scalable, distributed systems deployed via AWS or equivalent cloud services Hands-on experience with CI/CD deployment strategies Experience with analyzing, debugging, maintaining, and optimizing applications in high-demand production environments A track record of operational excellence in ensuring efficiency and documentation for development lifecycle processes Excellent communication skills combined with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail Nice-to-have: Experience in the financial services industry or a regulated environment. Proficiency with front end frameworks such as React.js Experience with Redis or other caching mechanisms Experience creating and managing data jobs in both relational and non-relational datastores What’s in it for you?
