Course Lecturer (GPHL 201) Winter 2026 GPHL 300 Data Literacy (3 credits) Winter 2026 GPHL 300: Introduction to foundational concepts in statistical thinking, data science and epidemiology including how to connect data to underlying phenomena and dealing with illustrating and interpreting data Location: TBC Schedule: Monday, 2:25pm-5:25pm Credits: 3 Teaching Qualification Requirements: Education: PhD in biostatistics or epidemiology Experience: Able to teach fundamental concepts related to statistics and causality for undergrad students. Able to teach statistical software (e.g. basic R and Tableau) and data functions including data collection, management, description, and visualization. Describe various sources of data and data collection tools, and teach about common challenges affecting the quality of data. Prior experience in teaching courses on data literacy would be a plus.
