Job Description Hiring Unit: Faculty of Law Course Number: PUB2 420 Course Title: Trial Advocacy Course Credits: 3 1 Instructor Term: Winter 2026 Course Schedule: Wednesday 1735-2025 ( Student Affairs Office will contact you if there is a change to the date/time) Location: Chancellor Day Hall The course aims to teach students the basic techniques of written and oral advocacy, including developing a theory of a case, drafting pleadings, engaging in effective examinations on discovery, direct examinations, cross-examinations, and examinations of expert witnesses, and delivering a closing argument. The class is hands on and requires active participation in practical exercises. TQR: At a minimum, a first degree in law. Several years of significant practice or professional experience, in the relevant area; Experience in teaching undergraduate law students in a bilingual setting.
