Position Overview
As an AZ-licensed driver, your primary role is operating specialized trucks for environmental services. Your live load and cross-border operations expertise ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Driving and Operations
Operate trucks (mainly automatic; truck and pup experience is an asset) for hauling and delivery operations for dust control services in the summer and de-icing services in the winter.
Drive across Ontario, with occasional cross-border travel to the U.S. (2–3 months/year in winter) and inter-provincial travel to Nova Scotia or Montreal (~10%).
Flexibility for occasional overnight shifts (up to 3 nights/year) based on client needs.
Vehicle Inspection and Shop Duties
Conduct daily vehicle circle checks and receive paperwork before beginning runs.
Perform shop duties on rain days, including cleaning trucks or other operational support tasks to maintain full-time hours.
Customer Service and Professionalism
Maintain excellent customer service standards, using sound judgment when adapting to job site conditions (e.g., determining appropriate gravel use).
Collaborate with team members to complete jobs safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Health, Safety and Compliance
Ensure safe delivery practices and compliance with environmental regulations (e.g., avoiding spills).
Comply with environmental regulations, including spill prevention and safe handling of materials.
Report incidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions promptly.
Qualifications
Valid AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR.
Experience with tanker trucks is preferred.
Truck and pup experience is considered an asset.
Willingness to undergo cross-border drug testing.
Must be customer-service oriented and capable of making real-time judgment calls on-site.
Comfortable working independently and communicating with clients on job details and changes.
Cross-border and inter-provincial travel readiness (including valid passport or eligibility).
