Job Description The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining the quality assurance processes to ensure products meet internal and external standards. This role involves conducting inspections, coordinating testing, documenting results, and assisting in continuous improvement efforts. The Quality Control Coordinator works closely with production, supply chain, and quality teams to promote a culture of compliance and excellence. Plant Location IG Machines and Fibers Ltd., 3745 Barnes Lake Rd, Ashcroft, BC V0K 1A0 Benefits Competitive salary - $72,000 - $83,000 Health Insurance (includes Virtual Health, and HCSA), Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance Life Insurance, Long-term Disability, Short-term Disability RRSP Match Paid Vacation Floating Days Employee Assistance Program Employee Engagement Events Awards and Recognition Tuition reimbursement Service Awards Employee Perks & Discounts Job Responsibilities Conduct, analyze, track and report on verification testing of raw materials and finished products Analyze plant Control Charts Audit production runs for conformance to colour and process parameters Review shift production documents for quality discrepancies Investigate and conduct testing on quality complaints and seek corrective action Coordinate external laboratory testing Maintain Lab equipment and computer systems Conduct, analyze and report on process studies of the crushing facilities Conduct workplace safety & 5S inspections Audit quality programs and procedures to ensure products produced are within acceptable quality standards Prepare Certificate of Analysis for all shipments Conduct and assist as required on all quality Research & Development projects Evaluate alternate sources of raw materials Coach Supervisors & Operators to better understand quality parameters Train lab utility employees in correct product testing methods Attend Review meetings as required to share Quality progress & updates Administer all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) Qualifications Must have bachelor’s degree in a Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or a Diploma in Chemical Technology Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial or mining environment Highly developed communication, interpersonal and coaching skills Excellent time and project management, organizational and analytical skills Drive to influence positive change with continuous improvement activities Exhibits values of integrity, respect for others, teamwork, collaboration and accountability Demonstrated initiative and proven record of taking on projects in a proactive manner to reach strategic outcomes Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Important note: Please include a Cover Letter and Resume as part of your application package.
