Job Description
The human resources technician works closely with colleagues to contribute to the smooth running of the department by performing various administrative tasks.
Role and responsibilities
Perform various administrative tasks for the department, such as word processing and drafting official documents.
Compile and write reports and statistics.
Respond to general inquiries from employees.
Provide support throughout the various stages of the staffing cycle (from searching for candidates to integrating new employees).
Participate in the orientation of new employees.
Ensure the compliance, organization, and maintenance of employee files and documentation in the HR directory.
Prepare various HR communications.
Participate in the administrative coordination of HR department projects and programs (performance management, recognition program, etc.).
Keep data such as statistics and key performance indicators up to date;
Participate in the management of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and work boots;
Prepare and organize meetings, training sessions, and other events;
Collaborate in the preparation of training files and the compilation of related expenses;
Prepare and organize information to be sent to the payroll department and staffing agencies;
Participate in the development, updating, implementation, and enforcement of human resources policies, programs, and procedures;
Perform various administrative tasks;
Participate in various projects and ensure that deadlines are met;
All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
College diploma (DEC) in administration, human resources profile, combined with 1 year of experience in a similar position (any relevant combination will be considered);
Proficiency in computer tools (Microsoft Office suite);
Possess a keen sense of discretion and confidentiality;
Demonstrate a sense of planning, organization, and excellent priority management;
Be thorough and detail-oriented;
Ability to work well in a team;
Good communication and writing skills;
Autonomy and resourcefulness.
Master the French and English language (communication with CMP NY).
