Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the Addictions Counsellor Diploma is accountable for providing Adult Addictions Counselling which may include any of the following: screening, assessment and referral, individual counselling and brief support, education presentations, multidisciplinary team and community collaboration. The Addictions Counsellor Diploma will provide services consistent with the current Provincial Clinical Addiction Service Model and Saskatchewan Health Authority values and standards of care. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Education Chemical Dependency diploma Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Completed social sciences or human services discipline acceptable to employer Competencies Intermediate - Leadership skills Intermediate - Computer skills Advanced - Communication, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.
