Role Purpose
Deliver pre-planned children’s camp activities on Pro-D and mid-term break days — this is an implementation-only role; no planning required.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, run, and pack down pre-planned activities under the direction of the Teacher Supervisor.
Provide active supervision, support inclusion, and follow sign-in/out and headcount routines.
Apply safety practices and promptly escalate issues/incidents to the Teacher Supervisor.
Care for equipment and facilities, including basic cleaning/reset of spaces after sessions.
Communicate warmly and professionally with participants and teammates.
Requirements
QMS Senior School student with reliable attendance and a positive attitude with children.
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team; strong communication skills.
Physically able to be on feet, move light equipment, and work both indoors and outdoors.
Completion of QMS orientation (policies, child protection, emergency procedures).
First Aid/CPR an asset (not required).
Safeguarding & Supervision
A Teacher Supervisor is on-site at all times. Students implement the program; the teacher does not run activities.
Adherence to all QMS child-safety policies and procedures is mandatory.
Availability & Hours
Casual shifts on Pro-D days and selected mid-term break days.
Hours vary by program (e.g., approximately 7:45 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.).
