YOUR CHALLENGES
You will be responsible for all accounting operations for the OHSTraining division. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accountant will ensure the accuracy of financial data, compliance with applicable accounting standards, and adherence to deadlines.
Perform full accounting for the OHSTraining division, including:
Recording journal entries
Invoicing and accounts receivable follow-up
Processing and monitoring accounts payable
Monthly bank reconciliation
Prepare adjusting entries, depreciation, and provisions for the OHSTraining division
Prepare and analyze the division’s monthly financial statements
Analyze budget variances on a monthly basis
Ensure operations comply with GAAP accounting standards
Collaborate with the Financial Controller for internal and external audits
Prepare various month-end analyses as requested by management
Support managers with finance-related matters
SPECIFIC MESEASURES OF SUCCESS
Close accounting months within 5 business days
Accuracy, no errors when financial statements are published outside the department.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation;
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role;
Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken;
Dynamic individual seeking continuous improvement;
Interest in taking on new responsibilities
