Your Opportunity
As a Civil Technologist, you'll play a key part in delivering innovative water infrastructure solutions—whether you're independently managing smaller assignments or supporting large-scale, multi-faceted projects.
Our team tackles a broad spectrum of work, from sanitary sewer systems and stormwater management to watermain design and rehabilitation. Projects range in scale and complexity, including master plan environmental assessments, open-cut construction, trenchless technologies, relining, and tunneling. Based in our Windsor office, you'll have the chance to contribute to impactful projects throughout Southwestern Ontario and across North America.
Your Key Responsibilities
Typical projects or design tasks may include the design of sanitary, storm, and watermain projects and overland flow / civil site plan design projects.
Undertake technical tasks including completing design work, calculations on a wide range of civil infrastructure projects generally involving sewer and watermain design and rehabilitation.
Prepare design drawings using Civil 3D software.
Coordinate with the Project Manager, team members and sub-consultants.
Acts as a technical resource by providing guidance to other team members.
Implements understanding of conveyance system construction elements as it relates to design to select construction methods and defining work area limits.
May coordinate with the team on construction activities, providing guidance and clarification of the design during construction.
Develops strategy for minimizing impacts and constraints due to environmental and permitting requirements.
Understands and implements industry standards and manuals as well as client and regulatory agencies standards and requirements.
Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
