As a Business Development Director, you will play a critical role in expanding Steritech’s market presence and securing strategic partnerships with national brands. You will represent an essential mission: helping clients safeguard their customers, protect their reputation, and elevate food safety and operational excellence.
This is a high-impact leadership position where your expertise in enterprise-level consultative selling, industry knowledge, and strategic business acumen will directly contribute to growth and influence Steritech’s position as the premier partner in brand protection.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and secure partnerships with national and large multi-site brands
Lead business development strategy within assigned verticals and markets
Conduct executive-level meetings and present Steritech’s solutions to C-suite and senior decision-makers
Design, price, and negotiate complex, multi-service proposals to support enterprise growth
Maintain active presence in national industry associations and thought-leadership forums
Track, analyze, and report on sales activity and pipeline performance
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to deliver client success and accelerate revenue growth
Food Safety & Brand Protection Leadership
Demonstrate advanced understanding of food safety regulations, public health principles, and risk-mitigation strategies
Serve as a trusted industry advisor to clients on food safety best practices and emerging trends
Partner with internal subject-matter experts to build strategic, data-driven proposals
Educate executives and stakeholders on the value and impact of Steritech’s assessment programs
Uphold and promote Steritech’s safety, ethics, and compliance standards
Qualifications
Proven success in senior business development or enterprise sales leadership roles
Minimum 4+ years in national-level business development; experience in multi-unit enterprise environments strongly preferred
Strong experience selling high-value services or compliance-based solutions
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain C-suite and executive relationships
Deep consultative selling and strategic account-planning expertise
Familiarity with food safety, quality assurance, regulatory environments, or brand protection programs (industry training provided)
Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive presence
Highly strategic thinker with strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex organizations
Must be self-driven, growth-oriented, and able to work independently
Ability to travel; must reside near a major airport
Home-based role requiring overnight travel
Must pass Background Check and pre-employment and random Drug Tests
Must meet MVR requirements (offer contingent on verification)
Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000/ year with the following perks!
