Job Summary
Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Product Marketing Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
Plan, develop, organize and disseminate new product launch marketing approach and materials
Be a leading advocate and user of our solutions – you will learn these well enough to demo to a prospect in a pinch
Work with Product Managers to define the scope of launch activities, gather user stories, understand feature functionality, and then articulate that in non-technical terms to a wide range of internal and external audiences
Coordinate planning, manage timelines, track performance, and conduct post-launch reviews: including review campaign results, utilize monitoring tools, provide recommendations, and report key metrics
Develop briefs, collaborate with internal partners, review, approve, and distribute assets; sunset outdated materials
Develop and execute product marketing projects and promotions in conjunction with our Sector and Demand marketing teams
Manage marketing elements of long-term product lifecycle measures and tactical product initiatives
Attend site visits, interview users and buyers, and develop deep empathy and understanding of our operators (the folks that use our solutions the most often)
Build internal bridges with the Sale enablement, competitive intelligence, implementation, delivery and care teams - seeking to understand their priorities, you’ll help us determine how we can work more effectively cross-functionally to constantly improve client and operator experience
Execute a range of product marketing responsibilities — including guest, operator and client research, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, pricing, content creation, and overall go-to-market positioning
Think you have what it takes to be our Product Marketing Manager? We’re committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role:
Mandatory - at least two years of proven product marketing experience. This means you either had “Product Marketing” in your job title or you worked closely alongside a Product Marketing team (Product, Sales, Marketing) for the past two years
Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Exceptional public presentation skills – you're comfortable speaking to groups and can convey your message clearly and tailored to that audience
Flexibility in managing varying priorities and workloads – you handle change with grace and can manage stakeholder expectations like a pro
Ability to travel (especially to the US) to attend training, installations and site visits
Comfort using Microsoft solutions and strategically leveraging ChatGPT to augment and test your ideas
Bilingualism (fluent French & English) is an asset
Bonus points for experience working in a tech company positioning software solutions
Extra bonus points for experience working in a busy commercial kitchen, like a restaurant or cafeteria
