At Poka, we’re transforming how frontline teams operate, learn, and solve
problems.
Our connected worker platform is purpose-built for manufacturing, empowering
frontline workers to share knowledge, collaborate in real-time, and drive
continuous improvement. Think of it as the missing digital link, bringing the
human interface into the stack of the Smart Factory, generating the right data
and insights that drive entirely new scales of process improvements.
We’re proud to support global leaders like Nestlé, Bosch, Mars, and Danone in
their digital transformation journeys and as part of the IFS family, our reach
and impact continue to grow globally.
We are hiring an Oil & Gas Product Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping
Poka’s impact in the Oil & Gas industry! With your industry knowledge, you will
lead delivery for a strategic, multi-site Oil & Gas customer on our
connected-worker platform. You’ll own the product relationship, translate client
needs into clear requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally with
Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality product features that raise
customer satisfaction.
This role will work with the Daily Management team, ensuring strong alignment
with operational priorities and seamless execution across functions.
This is a unique opportunity that allows you to apply your Oil & Gas expertise
to help establish Poka’s blueprint for this industry - transforming one
customer’s success into repeatable wins for the sector.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Strategic account delivery – Be the main point of contact for one of our
largest Oil & Gas customers. Oversee the full rollout of our solution,
keeping track of progress, anticipating risks, and ensuring alignment with
customer expectations. Make sure key milestones are met and that final
sign-off is secured from the customer.
- Building strong relationships – Act as the voice of the product with the
customer. Translate their operational needs into clear priorities and
collaborate closely with technical teams such as Engineering and Design,
while ensuring the customer’s needs remain front and center.
- Feature delivery & stakeholder coordination – Lead workshops with customer
stakeholders to better understand their challenges and goals. Document the
scope of the client’s needs and what constraints exist. Make sure
requirements are clear and quality standards are defined.
- Vision & roadmap – Work with our team to define how Poka can best serve the
Oil & Gas sector over time. Identify the most valuable use cases, help
prioritize them, and guide how we invest in new features, integrations, and
insights. Keep track of success measures and market signals to make sure our
vision stays relevant.
- Market & portfolio insights – Collect and maintain data on market trends,
product performance, capability positioning, and competitors to inform
roadmap and investment decisions.
- Product champion & stakeholder enablement - Serve as the product expert for
internal collaborators and customers. Clearly communicate the value, equip
our teams with the right messaging, and represent the product in executive
meetings. Collect feedback from all sides and feed it back into product
improvements.
YOUR EXPERIENCE MUST INCLUDE:
- Oil & Gas field experience - Several years in upstream/midstream operations
or projects (e.g., production operations, maintenance/integrity,
turnarounds/TARs, brownfield mods, HSE initiatives); comfortable with site
realities: PPE, permits, contractor ecosystems, limited connectivity, and
multilingual crews.
- Demonstrated leadership - You create clarity, bring people together, and keep
momentum in real plant conditions. You earn trust by aligning teams on
outcomes that matter.
- Languages - Professional English and French required.
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART:
- Communication & stakeholder management - Strong communicator who can write
clearly, provide concise executive updates, and engage credibly with both
frontline users and senior leaders.
- Data fluency - Comfortable defining success metrics/OKRs and using analytics
and feedback to guide decisions.
- Willingness to travel - locally or internationally 10% of the time - Travel
includes customer meetings, attending roadshows and seminars, team-building
activities, etc.
