This position will lead and manage a team of National Account Managers to expand and develop FS National Accounts with growth Channels to include C-Stores, Assemblers as well as QSR/FSRs in Canada. As a key member of the National Accounts Leadership team, the Director of National Accounts, Growth Channels will work across Sales, Marketing, Insights and R&D to refine and execute strategies with partners to drive top and bottom line growth. Key responsibilities include: evolve and grow customer partnerships with assigned operators. Develop and implement customer programs, promotions and innovation that drive both CHG branded and custom formulation sales growth. Additionally, manage, support and develop team members to achieve business and career objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage a team of National Account Manager direct reports. Develop and execute strategies within the Growth Channels Team to elevate operator partnerships and exceed annual revenue/volume and profit KPIs. Collaborate with Marketing, Insights, R&D, S&OP and Finance to launch new custom products and increase velocities with existing skus. Work with Pricing, Finance and Category Marketing to understand product and customer margins and expand profitability accordingly. Prepare and deliver sales and marketing presentations by establishing plans for customer interface, determining sales objectives, developing a presentation outline, compiling required data and information, making presentations, following up on resulting issues or opportunities and evaluating results. Negotiate new and renew existing customer contracts to maximize shareholder value for CHG in conjunction with cross-functional stakeholders. Responsible for annual budget process for NA Growth Channels Partner with National Accounts VP to represent the Growth Channels + Canada elevating insights, challenges and opportunities for growth. Ensure sales opportunities are captured accurately and are kept up to date in the pipeline tool and communicated across the organization. Attend trade shows and customer events as necessary / required. Execute all required paperwork in a timely fashion. Perform all other duties as assigned. Minimum Job Requirements: Education/Certifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree 10+ years of related experience. Strong track record of winning and growing strategic accounts with $10M of new business. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficient use of computer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other related applications or software. Demonstrated leadership and possesses the ability to develop cross-functional relationships, with our Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Purchasing, Innovation / R&D, Customer Service and Quality Assurance departments. Must have deep experience managing C-store accounts as well as familiarity with Canadian National Accounts/Away from Home market and customers. Experience commercializing custom products with National FS Accounts Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of associates and customers ranging from entry level to executive level positions. Ability to manage multiple tasks, often with competing deadlines. Ability to prioritize projects and clearly communicate direction internally and externally. Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage two or more National Account Managers Hire, train and develop team to achieve business objectives and career growth. Work requires supervising and monitoring work performance of direct reports including making final decisions on hiring and disciplinary actions, evaluating program/work objectives and effectiveness, and realigning work and staffing assignments, as needed. Develop functional responsibilities of individual(s) that report to this position and ensure that best-in class output is created. Working Conditions and Physical Effort: Typical work in office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Substantial travel required (40-70% of the time), which may vary depending on business needs.
