Dépanner, ajuster et corriger électriquement les pannes, y compris les réparations majeures et complexes Suivre les schémas et dépanner les circuits électriques, avec l’aide d’un spécialiste au téléphone, si nécessaire Travailler avec des déménageurs qualifiés, pour installer de l’équipement neuf ou usagé Effectuer les appels de service en temps opportun, de manière sécuritaire et professionnelle. Remplir tous les documents dans les délais prescrits (dépenses, feuilles de temps, bons de travail, rapports au soutien technique niveau supérieur, etc.) Apporter de l’aide technique au téléphone pour les clients, lorsque nécessaire. Autres tâches connexes pour répondre aux besoins de l’entreprise. Qualifications Diplôme de technicien/technologue en électricité Excellentes compétences en mécanique pour réparer des assemblages mécaniques complexes Formation aux contrôles industriels Minimum de six ans d’expérience en automatisation de machines, solide expérience en P.L.C. et familiarité avec le matériel, les réseaux et la programmation logicielle PCD. Expérience avec l’équipement d’impression un atout. Une attitude positive et un dévouement au service à la clientèle Doit avoir des compétences de base en informatique et en mathématiques et MS Office Un permis de travail pour travailler au Canada est requis. Le français est essentiel. Un bilinguisme Français/anglais serait un atout. L’anglais fonctionnel est nécessaire pour pouvoir suivre les formations à l’étranger. Job Overview: An opportunity exists with our Ottawa and Montreal Canada Service team for a highly skilled technician to install, troubleshoot and service graphic arts equipment. Heidelberg Canada is an international industry leader in the manufacture and distribution of graphic arts equipment and graphic arts consumables. This position’s primary role is to install and repair printing presses. Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical problems on printing presses. Troubleshoot and electrically adjust and correct any and all problems, including major and complex repairs Follow schematic and troubleshoot electrical circuits within the equipment with telephone assistance, if necessary Work with assigned qualified riggers to install new or used equipment Conduct service calls in a timely, safe and professional manner Complete all paper work in a timely manner (i.e. expenses, time sheets, work orders, escalation reports, etc.) Assist in technical phone support when contacted Other duties assigned as required to meet business needs Qualifications Electrical Technician/Technologist diploma Excellent Mechanical skills to repair complex mechanical assembly Training in Industrial Controls Minimum six years machine automation experience, strong P.L.C. background and familiarity with PCD Hardware, Networks and Software Programming. Experience with printing equipment an asset. A positive attitude and dedication to customer service Must have basic computer and math skills and MS Office Must be able to travel/drive extensively to clients in Ontario and within Canada as required. Travel to USA and Germany for training also required Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, duck, carry and push Drivers License in good standing A Work permit to work in Canada is required.
