We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Total Rewards to help us create an impactful
experience for our employees through our strategies and our total rewards
offerings. Reporting to an executive people leader, this global role will focus
on Hootsuite's total rewards programs to include health and wellness benefits,
employee recognition, equity incentive program, and global mobility needs.
You’ll partner with other members of the Total Rewards team and the broader
People Team leading the day to day work and strategic initiatives. In line with
Hootsuite's distributed workforce strategy, our flexible work arrangement allows
for remote work or a hybrid model. This role is open to applicants located
across Canada, and the USA where we comply with our legal hiring entities. In
this role, you will report to our Vice President of People & Culture.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Perform full scope of people management responsibilities, including
selection, coaching, mentoring, development, performance management.
- Develop programs and initiatives that enable us to attract, retain, and
motivate the talent needed to meet our business objectives.
- Lead the benefits program for North America including design,
implementation, and administration of employee benefits across Canada and the
U.S. This includes overseeing a range of benefits, such as health and income
continuance plans, retirement programs, leave of absence policies, wellness
initiatives, and other ancillary benefits.
- Oversee the equity compensation program, including end-to-end plan design,
administration, governance of all equity related offerings. This includes
managing day-to-day operations of stock plans (e.g. RSUs, PSUs, Options),
ensuring regulatory compliance, collaborating with stakeholders and
supporting strategic decisions related to total rewards and employee
ownership.
- Lead the team on all global mobility needs. Oversee vendor relationships,
coordinate cross-functionally with the Finance, Legal, and People teams, and
provide strategic guidance on global mobility programs and continuously
improve processes.
- Design, implement, and manage rewards and recognition programs that drive
employee engagement, reinforce desired behaviors, and align with the
Hootsuite’s values, culture, and business goals.
- Lead budget development and ongoing management of programs, ensuring
operational efficiencies and alignment with broader people goals and
objectives.
- Collaborate with other People Teams on projects and initiatives to
continuously look for ways to enhance people programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Extensive relevant experience in total rewards roles with preferred
experience in compensation, stock plan administration, and mobility
- Experience in leading a team of diverse total rewards specialists
- Ability to challenge as well as support others to create the best possible
results
- Advanced financial modeling skills, and exceptional quantitative, analytical,
and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Shareworks.
- Able to collaborate and work within diverse teams
- Exceptional communication skills, specifically with C-Suite leaders.
