This position is for the ITCloud business unit Servicing Canadian IT
professionals and their business customers since 2005, IT Cloud is an authorized
Canadian Distributor for Microsoft, Acronis, Bitdefender, AvePoint, BitTitan,
Letsignit and NinjaOne. Through our partner channel, we provision Canadian
businesses with the most powerful corporate cloud solutions for continuity,
cybersecurity and productivity. Highly skilled on both the technical and
business sides, our team backs up our partners-resellers with technical, sales,
marketing and administrative enablement so they can build a successful business
while provisioning their client-base through our simple and secure marketplace.
About You
The Microsoft 365 Security Enablement Specialist is a key role in driving new
Microsoft 365 customer acquisition, upsell opportunities, and Security solutions
for Microsoft 365 partners and customers in the IT channel. The Microsoft 365
Security Enablement Specialist will work closely with the IT Cloud partner sales
team to identify, qualify, and close new opportunities for Microsoft 365, while
also directly providing technical support to our existing partners.
Additionally, the role involves creating content, writing blogs and social
posts, and delivering monthly trainings to partners and sales teams to support
upskilling and knowledge transfer.
What you'll do and how you'll have an impact
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for Microsoft 365 Security in
collaboration with the IT Cloud partner sales team;
- Engage with partners and customers to understand their business needs,
challenges, and goals, and position Microsoft 365 Security as appropriate;
- Provide direct support to partners with technical and enablement questions or
requirements;
- Demonstrate the value proposition and benefits of Microsoft 365 Security to
partners and customers through presentations, demos, webinars, and proof of
concepts;
- Support the IT Cloud sales team in closing new deals for Microsoft 365
Security with partners and customers;
- Work closely with Microsoft to understand the Microsoft 365 Security value
proposition, to provide feedback and insights to Microsoft on customer and
partner needs, market opportunities, and competitive landscape;
- Obtain all necessary Microsoft certifications to demonstrate proficiency in
the Microsoft 365 Security solution.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent
work experience;
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account
management in the technology industry, preferably with Microsoft or Microsoft
partners;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Security for Microsoft 365 products,
features, and capabilities, and how they address customer and partner needs;
- Excellent communication (English & French), presentation, and negotiation
skills, with the ability to influence and persuade decision makers at all
levels;
- Results oriented, self-motivated, and proactive, with a sales mindset and a
customer focus;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative
environment, with multiple stakeholders and partners.
