What is a Business Development Executive at Gurus Solutions?
Sales Executives are ambitious go-getters and are passionate about bringing the
best solution to clients and lead them to the next step in their strategic
growth!
Main Responsibilities
- Build pipeline of qualified opportunities through strategic and disciplined
business development individual effort in order to achieve territory sales
quota. Proactively contact and follow-up regularly on leads and target
accounts and record activity in the CRM.
- Develop your network by attending marketing and networking events such as
seminars, conferences, trade shows, and develop strong relationship with
strategic partners
- Define a sales strategy and execution plan for each opportunity that will
include a timeline, technical support needed and implementation key
milestones. Clearly communicate your plan to your team and follow the
progress of each step of the sales cycle.
- Lead and coordinate the preparation of Netsuite demonstration with your
assigned Solution Consultant team. Prepare professional and effective sales
presentations, proposals and support documentation including response to
RFP’s.
- Lead the commercial negotiation following GURUS & Oracle pricing guidelines
and rules and coordinate the contract negotiation with the support of GURUS
legal team.
- Maintain and update in real-time the CRM system with accurate information
including expected close date, budget, timeline, next steps and any valuable
information that will help forecast revenues accurately & allow GURUS
operation team to plan ahead and ensure great customer experience.
- Act as a liaison for prospects and Gurus Solutions’s customers in your
assigned territory, by leading the opportunity information to our NetSuite
Consultants & Developers assigned on the project
What do you need to be a good Senior Business Development Executive at Gurus?
- Must be fluent in English (french is a strong asset) since this position will
focus on the North American territory;
- 5 + years of experience in Sales or as a Sales Executive in the IT industry
(Netsuite knowledge is a strong asset)
- University degree in business administration, management, engineering,
technology, accounting or any other relevant discipline;
- Problem-solver with a keen sense for customer experience and satisfaction;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and
effectively at all levels of the organization - you’re known for your
storytelling and presentation skills;
- Excellent listening and negotiating abilities;
- Strong initiative, resourcefulness and time management skills;
- Ability to absorb and understand the complexity of each of our clients while
working in a collaborate and teamwork environment
- Ability to build a network with other associations to connect as many
possible prospects and identify suitable companies that could be a good fit;
- The following are bonuses:
