ABOUT THE TEAM
DoorDash's mission is to grow and empower local economies. By building
intelligent, last-mile delivery technology for local cities, DoorDash connects
people with the local businesses they care about – helping grow business and the
communities that support those businesses. To further this mission, we’re
looking for a Head of Growth who will sit at the intersection of growth, product
and operations, to help bring affordable delivery options to Canadian users.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a strong operator with a bias to action to help lead
DoorDash’s growth across Quebec. As the market owner, you’ll blend sharp
analytical thinking with on-the-ground insights to uncover opportunities, solve
problems, and drive customer engagement and retention across key cities.
Whether it’s deep-diving into performance data or shadowing a store to
understand customer pain points, you’ll identify issues at both the macro and
micro level. You'll work cross-functionally to test, iterate, and scale
solutions. You’ll serve as a critical link between Quebec markets and Canada HQ,
identifying the tactics and resources needed to unlock local growth and
differentiate Doordash.
We’re looking for someone gritty, curious, and intellectually rigorous, fluent
in French, comfortable working across teams, and eager to take ownership of one
of DoorDash’s most exciting regions!
YOU’RE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL…
- Own and execute the growth strategy across Quebec: Build the roadmap and
drive initiatives that grow customer engagement and retention in priority
markets like Montreal, Laval, and Longueuil.
- Balance analytics with field insight: Validate assumptions with real-world
examples by combining rigorous data analysis with first-hand learnings from
customer interviews, store visits, and merchant shadowing.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration: Partner with teams across Merchant,
Dasher, Marketing, and Promotions to test, iterate, and scale localized
solutions.
- Be the voice of Quebec at Canada-HQ: Represent the needs of your market and
shape how Canada-wide strategies are applied locally.
- Act like an owner: Bring grit, curiosity, and operational discipline to
everything you do, with the autonomy to shape outcomes in your market.
WE’RE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE…
- You’re a builder at heart: You approach challenges with curiosity and
creativity, thrive in ambiguity, and aren’t afraid to question the status
quo. You build systems where none exist and see experimentation as a pathway
to impact.
- You care deeply about your community: You want your work to make a tangible
difference in your city and take pride in building trust and strong
relationships with local stakeholders.
- You bring strong strategic, operational, and analytical experience: You have
4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, startups, analytics, or
business operations, and know how to turn data and insights into clear,
impactful action.
- You’re bilingual and bicultural: You’re fluent in French and English, both
written and spoken, and understand how to operate effectively in Quebec’s
unique cultural landscape.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, startups, analytics, or
business operations
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL, and use data to inform decisions
and measure success.
- Proven ability to design and implement strategies that move key metrics and
drive meaningful change.
- Excellent communication skills, can write clearly, speak confidently, and
adapt your style to different audiences.
