About the role:
Reporting to the Lead, Mine Operations Training, the Training Coordinator, Mine
Operations is responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of
training at the Coal Mountain Training Campus.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal,
communication and team management skills, who has a passion for contributing to
other people’s personal and professional growth. We require a someone who can
schedule training and keep accurate records of all training events. Lastly, this
role requires an energetic team player with strong attention to detail and the
ability to adapt and prioritize contending demands in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Provide and source training which includes job-based and developmental
instruction using internally and externally developed materials
- Deliver training based on safe work practices and training requirements,
including lesson plans for apprentices and OEM Training
- Prepare and develop training needs and priorities, assess training programs,
and develop training courses, plans, and solutions
- Develop and modify Standard Practices and Procedures in accordance with
business unit best practices
- Schedule and deliver comprehensive training based on site requirements
including hands-on, computer-based training, classroom and simulator training
Requirements:
- Minimum three years' experience of open pit mining, training experience on
830E and 930E haul trucks, dozers and graders
- Strong digital literacy and proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite®
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
- All other equipment experience will be an asset

$106,675 - $131,775 a year

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s
relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
