Machine Builder
Location: Burlington
Shift: Days
Salary: $30.00 up to $35.00 an hour
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Machine Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling, installing, and testing industrial machinery and equipment according to specifications and blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical components, machines, and equipment based on engineering drawings and instructions
Install electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components as required
Perform mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper operation
Test and troubleshoot machinery to identify and resolve issues
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure quality and efficiency
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Machine Builder or Mechanical Assembler
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Skilled in using hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems (preferred)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically able to perform manual labor and lift heavy components
