Job Title: Mill Operator
Location: Jordan Mills
Salaried/Hourly: Hourly
Reports to: Facility Manager
Delmar Commodities, LTD, is seeking a full time Mill Operator at our Jordan Mills facility. Jordan Mills is a soybean crush plant that produces soybean oil and meal used in animal feed. The primary objective of the Mill Operator is to work with their team members to operate the mill equipment and maintain the facility safely and efficiently. The person in this position needs to be flexible to work any shift, including nights and weekends.
Position Responsibilities
Assist in loading, unloading, and processing of soybeans
Clean equipment
Complete production documentation
Participate in safety inspections and corrective actions
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Grade 12 diploma
Manufacturing experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to work safely in a team environment
Computer skills and diligence/ attention to detail
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
Read, write, and understand English
Basic math skills
Computer skills (data entry)
Valid Driver’s License
Must be at least 18 years of Age.
Previous experience in a leadership role would be considered an asset
