Position Summary: • 3 hours weekly teaching assistant on related topics to cell and tissue engineering. • Participation in, written, oral, quiz and term paper and mark the student performance. • Attend all classes, mark assignments, respond to student’ questions, monitor the “Mycourses” discussion board and ensure that students get a timely response either from the TA or instructor. • Communicate with all instructors, provide support and teaching logistics. Hiring Unit: Biomedical Engineering Course Title and Course Number: BMDE 505 - Cell and Tissue Engineering Estimated Number of Positions: 1 Total Hours of Work per Term: 120 Qualifications: - Having degree in Biomedical Engineering or related subject with a good understanding of cell and tissue engineering and cell therapy methods. - Having successfully taken course BMDE 505 (cell and tissue engineering) is a plus. - Good computer and communication skills. - Only registered graduate students at McGill can be hired as TAs.
