Primary Focus
Lead and manage day-to-day network support requests via phone, email, remote access, and on-site visits.
Facilitate improvement meetings with the technical team supporting specific clients.
Contribute meaningfully to new and ongoing projects.
Plan/setup/configure/deploy/troubleshot/maintain desktops, servers, networks with a focus on cloud services, as well as physical environments.
Review and provide disaster recovery and critical support situations.
Develop and update technical documentation including system configurations, application integration, etc.
Keep a timely and detailed record of all incidents, while maintaining accountability and ownership of service tickets until incidents are resolved.
Support the Account/Project management office in proposing and developing the "right" solution for the client.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and team members.
Skills and Experience Required
Completed a course in Information Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
Microsoft 365 Migrations, Management, and Administration.
Microsoft Azure
Microsoft Server Deployment and Administration
Microsoft Windows Workstation Administration (current version)
Microsoft AD Administration
HPE Server Hardware experience
HPE Storage Administration
Network Switch Management
Microsoft Exchange Administration
Networking Protocols including IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, etc.
Backup Strategies and Administration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enjoy working with a team but can also work effectively independently.
Working Conditions
This position is located at the Vancouver, B.C. office location, and mainly supports the greater Vancouver and surrounding area, and surrounding communities.
This role may be physically demanding, at times requiring carrying, setting up, and servicing of hardware weighing up to 50 pounds in a variety of environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The candidate must own a vehicle with insurance appropriate for business use.
The successful candidate must comply with the safety standards of ESW IT Business Advisors and all of its clients.
