ABOUT THE STATS & ANALYTICS TEAM
The Stats and Analytics team at StackAdapt solves complex distributed system
challenges, focusing on scalability, performance, reliability, and data
consistency. We leverage a modern tech stack that includes Golang for
high-performance services, TiDB for scalable SQL databases, Redshift and
Snowflake for data warehousing, Kafka for real-time streaming, Elasticsearch for
analytics, and HDFS for distributed storage.
The Stats & Analytics team is structured into three subteams:
Data Internalization: Ingests diverse data such as engagement events
(impressions, clicks) and conversion data (purchases, website visits)
Data Delivery: Powers downstream services such as reporting, billing, bidding,
and analytics
Data Externalization: Makes data accessible for offline use, supporting data
warehousing, client reporting, and custom dashboards
ABOUT THE DATA DELIVERY TEAM
The Data Delivery sub team works closely with product managers and the web
platform teams to deliver reporting and analytics features that directly serve
our clients. Data Delivery is responsible for:
- Designing and maintaining reporting databases that power near-real-time
dashboards and reports
- Building the data pipelines that process data for fast retrieval
- Developing apis that deliver reporting data with low latency and high

In addition to product-driven projects, the team has several initiatives to
rearchitect our data pipelines, improve data freshness, and optimize query
performance. Our engineers frequently collaborate across teams to design
solutions that balance business needs with technical scalability.
