In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient movement of products throughout their lifecycle, from receiving to sales floor placement. You will lead a team to ensure operational excellence, optimize visual merchandising, and drive customer satisfaction.Manage and motivate a team to ensure operational excellence and profitable movement of goods throughout the product lifecycleAnalyze sales performance and key process scorecard data to improve efficiency and effectiveness of product flow processesDevelop and implement action plans to address gaps in operational performanceLead visual merchandising efforts, including regular assessments and implementation of home office initiativesOversee all aspects of product flow, including back-of-house management, sales floor promotional setups, and markdown processesCollaborate with store leadership to react to sales trends and customer demands, maximizing margin ratesChampion customer-centric decision-making processes and anticipate customer needsLead the store's health and safety committee, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and proceduresManage opening and closing procedures for the storeFoster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the teamQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience2-3 years of management experience in retail or multi-unit business environmentProven leadership skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teamsStrong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management systemsExperience with visual merchandising and store layout optimizationExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods and lift items up to 40 pounds using appropriate equipment and techniquesProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and retail-specific softwareDemonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAdditional InformationAt Indigo, we are committed to our communities, our customers, and each other; together we can make a positive impact.
