Ecolab is seeking an Account Specialist to join its Food Retail Services division, an industry leader in food safety, brand protection and total quality assurance. Our Account Specialists supporting Walmart plays a critical role in delivering complete food safety, workplace safety and brand standards audit solutions to Ecolab’s customers through direct customer contact, customized audit program development and launch, daily program maintenance, and delivering compelling and insightful business reviews and reporting. What You Will Do: SPARK (digital system) Develop and update all logs and checklists in the system as needed Update the hierarchy and store type as needed Ensure accuracy of checklists with store type and operational hours Troubleshoot any system issues and escalate to the Walmart Global Tech team as needed Act as liaison between the Walmart SME and the Walmart Global Tech team Perform system testing as needed Perform data analysis by using a digital platform (e.g. PowerBI) Create and update dashboards for the Walmart SME that highlight store trends and performance Food Safety Audits Review each audit report for accuracy and completeness Escalate deficiencies and changes required to audit reports to Ecolab Update the hierarchy and store type as needed Troubleshoot system issues and escalate to Ecolab’s tech team as needed Act as liaison between the Walmart SME and Ecolab’s tech team Escalate store issues to the Walmart SME and Ecolab as needed Perform system testing as needed Perform data analysis by using a digital platform (e.g. PowerBI) Create and update dashboards for the Walmart SME that highlight store trends and performance Chemicals Review and update chemical list(s) as needed for Walmart’s facilities Review and update cleaning SOPs (standard operating procedures) to ensure that: (i) the proper chemicals are listed; and (ii) the processes to use such chemicals are correct Escalate service issues to Ecolab Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required – this will be verified! Preferably in Food Science, Environmental Health, Business, Math, Data Analytics 3+ years in customer-facing role such as account management or project management. Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability and willingness to travel overnight for business (local and domestic). Ability to manage multiple projects that require timeliness and accuracy. Experience with regulatory safety standards. Bilingual strongly preferred in both English and French. Advanced food safety certification such as Certified Professional of Food Safety (CPFS).
