Starting Wage Range: $25 - 26 per hour. This is the starting base range for this role and may vary based on a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Position Summary
The Assessments Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining accurate Member records and supporting the fair and transparent administration of assessment fees. This role ensures smooth ownership transitions, clear communication with Members, and reliable support for lawyers and notaries during the conveyancing process. As a front-line contact for Members, the Coordinator delivers exceptional customer service while upholding Tourism Whistler’s bylaws and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Member Support
Act as a Tourism Whistler ambassador, living our purpose and vision with passion & energy, achievement and respect.
Respond to Member account inquiries by phone and email in a professional, timely, and friendly manner.
Provide assessment fee details to lawyers and notaries in support of property conveyancing.
Data & Administration
Process Resort Land ownership changes and update Member records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Administer and process Member forms in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain databases and records with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Legal & Bylaw Compliance
Contribute to the fair and equitable application of Tourism Whistler bylaws and policies related to the administration of assessment fees.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong computer skills: MS Outlook, Word & Excel; experience with accounting or financial software an asset.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on strong customer service.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem solving and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving processes.
Knowledge of business, finance, or accounting principles is an asset.
Previous experience in a regulatory, legal or financial environment (e.g. property taxation, utilities, or conveyancing) preferred.
