Position Summary:
This role works collaboratively with Graybar Canada’s marketing team to provide
support in communications, managing projects, and executing marketing plans. The
focus of this role is communications to both internal and external audiences.
Requirements:
- Coordinate internal and external publications and communication documents.
- Coordinate monthly e-newsletter content and distribution with Digital
Marketing Specialist.
- Support social media content calendar with Digital Marketing Specialist.
- Create & coordinate communications content for digital marketing
campaigns/activities, for website, digital signage, and our inbound marketing
plan.
- Create communication and press releases as needed.
- Support internal communications and required material, such as strategic
business plans, corporate communications, and special events.
- Support the promotional items and swag process, including ordering, inventory
levels, tracking and invoicing.
- Collaborate with other Marketing team members for events, projects and
strategy.
- Coordinate & support national & regional events such as trade shows, branch
events, golf tournaments and more.
- Conduct customer research to inform marketing strategy through surveys and
contests.
- Assist with analytic measurements of CRM, Social Media Marketing, Email
Marketing, and Ecommerce initiatives.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- University degree or college diploma in Communications, Public Relations,
Marketing, or related experience.
- Bilingual in French/English.
- Relevant writing/editing/proofreading experience
- Experience in multimedia channels
- Experience with PPC campaigns including via social media networks and Google
Ads/Bing Ads considered an asset.
- Ability to assist with Adobe Creative Cloud projects including InDesign and
Photoshop considered an asset.
- Experience with digital publishing and monitoring tools considered an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Effective time management skills and experience managing multiple projects
simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, focused and self-motivated.
