Position Summary: We are looking for enthusiastic, patient, and passionate individuals to teach skiing to guests of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are an experienced instructor or new to the industry, our training programs will help you develop the skills needed to provide exceptional experiences on the slopes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students
- Adhere to all operational and safety procedures (ensuring safe and efficient operation of ski programs)
- Attend on-hill and off-hill sessions
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional materials
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
- Assist with special events and functions
- Perform other duties related to snow sport activities such as tear down of on-snow events
- Comply with all procedures and policies as set out in the Resorts Policy Manual
- Strive to continually improve safety, service, and job satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Must have minimum of Level 1 Certification (CSIA, CSCF, CASI, CADS) or obtaining certification prior to commencing employment
- Good knowledge of Snow Sports and Snow School operations
- Great organizational skills
- Must be personable and have positive demeanor
- Must be available on evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Daytime shifts are available!
