Small Engine & Equipment Mechanic – Jack of All Trades
Company: CSL Group
Do you love fixing things? Grew up around tractors, quads, or farm equipment? Know your way around everything from lawnmowers to loaders? CSL Group is looking for a hands-on mechanic who can keep our equipment running strong — from the smallest chainsaw to the biggest skid steer.
This isn’t just about turning wrenches — it’s about problem-solving, keeping our crews moving, and being the go-to person when “it won’t start.” If you’re a jack-of-all-trades who’d rather be in the shop (or the yard) than behind a desk, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair small engines (mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, snow blowers, etc.).
Maintain and service larger gear — skid steers, loaders, tractors, and work trucks.
Handle a bit of everything: hydraulics, electrical, welding, troubleshooting.
Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment reliable and safe.
Help keep parts, supplies, and tools organized in the shop.
Pitch in where needed to keep operations rolling.
What We’re Looking For
Mechanical know-how — whether from farm life, shop experience, or years of tinkering.
Experience with small engines and bigger equipment (hydraulics, diesel, electrical).
Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic basics.
Problem-solver who can figure things out without a manual.
Valid driver’s license in good standing (AZ/DZ a plus but not required).
Safety-first attitude and good work ethic.
What We Offer
Competitive wages
Company-paid benefits
Boot allowance & uniforms
RRSP and DPSP contribution programs
Bonus compensation plan
Career development and paid training
Employee appreciation events
At CSL, we believe in finding people who can get the job done — no matter if you learned in a classroom or in a barn. If you can fix it, keep it running, and take pride in a job well done, we’d love to have you on our team.
