This internship provides students with the opportunity to explore the digital experience landscape within Manulife’s Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM) Marketing department. Interns will contribute to initiatives that enhance brand visibility, deepen client engagement, and drive digital innovation across global markets. Through hands-on project work, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and exposure to strategic marketing functions, students will gain valuable experience in delivering meaningful customer experiences, strengthening internal communications, and optimizing marketing processes and tools.
Position Responsibilities:
Support digital and marketing initiatives across areas such as design, product management, analytics, events, and marketing automation.
Conduct research on business and industry trends, perform competitive analysis, and share insights to help inform strategic decision-making.
Participate in brainstorming and collaboration sessions to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
Assist in developing internal communications and content that engage and inform stakeholders across the marketing organization.
Build relationships with colleagues across Global Wealth & Asset Management Marketing, digital experience teams, and business partners to support cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design (any type), User Experience, Product Management, Learning and Development, or a related field.
A strong communicator with the ability to create clear and engaging content.
Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, Power BI).
Curious and proactive, with a growth mindset and a passion for learning.
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A collaborative team player who enjoys engaging with diverse stakeholders.
